Join the conversation shaping Ontario’s dual-use ecosystem
on Friday, June 19 at The Quay in Toronto, Ontario.
About
The Ontario Defence Industrial Strategy is creating meaningful opportunities for Ontario organizations to forge partnerships that accelerate research, innovation, and commercialization toward sovereign national defence targets and in support of the national prioritization on defence spending. In this evolving environment, many businesses and institutions aren’t sure where to begin.
On June 19, join leaders from postsecondary education, business, and government to launch the Dual‑Use Readiness Assessment (DURA), a practical framework that helps institutions and businesses understand, navigate, and ultimately participate in dual-use research collaboration.
DURA helps eCampusOntario members and their partners engage in responsible dual use research while protecting national security interests, intellectual property, and research integrity.
After opening remarks from Minister Nolan Quinn, businesses and institutions will engage in a conversation about defence research, partnerships between industry and higher education, and strategies to advance sovereign innovation to commercialization.
A catered lunch will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to network, connect, and share ideas.
Spots are limited. Reserve your ticket today! Registration closes on June 15 at 8am EST.
