Tannis Morgan is the Associate Vice President, Academic Innovation at Vancouver Community College and leads the Centre for Educational Excellence.   Her current work is focussed on the intersection of microcredentials, badging, and recognition systems, and she co-leads CredX, an annual symposium that brings together government, industry and higher education around these topics.  Tannis is an advocate of open education practices in higher education, and has published in the areas of online and distance learning and open education.
