Step Into Spring with Job‑Ready Skills through Micro-credentials

Spring is often a season of renewal. For many Canadians, it’s the perfect time to refresh career goals or step into a brand‑new role.

With courses opening soon, now is the perfect time to enroll in a micro-credential. Whether you’re entering a new field, advancing your career, or building foundational digital skills, these micro‑credentials offer a flexible, supportive path forward.

What are micro‑credentials?

Unlike traditional certificates or diplomas, micro‑credentials focus on one clearly defined competency, making them highly practical and immediately applicable. Offered by Ontario’s colleges, universities, Indigenous institutes, and training providers, they demonstrate competency and value of a particular skill.

Think of them as skill boosters: small but powerful credentials that help learners stand out.

New credentials to build your resume

Niagara College, Six Nations Polytechnic, and Northern College have new offerings on the Ontario Micro-credentials Portal that help learners build practical, job‑ready skills in just weeks.
