Since 2024, the Franco-Ontarian Forum has convened educators, administrators, instructional designers, and learners from across the sector to exchange perspectives, highlight innovative initiatives, and explore new directions for French-language and French-as-a-Second-Language education.

Held annually, the Franco-Ontarian Forum has become an unmissable event in Ontario for all those committed to advancing postsecondary education in French.

The Forum draws on the unique realities of minority Francophone communities, championing research, lived experience, and tangible initiatives that drive access, student success, and lasting innovation in Francophone education.

The Franco-Ontarian Forum returns on Friday, June 19, 2026 at “The Quay” in Toronto for a day of discussions, interactive workshops, and hands-on collaborations focused on the future of Francophone higher education in Ontario.

This year’s edition will explore how to better align Francophone postsecondary education with labour market needs through data, skills development in priority sectors, and research and innovation partnerships.

Franco-Ontarian Forum 2024: Citoyenneté 3.0 – L’aventure technopédagogique en milieu franco-ontarien
