OCIP’s Scope of Work program connected me with an innovative start-up with the ambitious goal to achieve agriculture resilience in the Canadian North. We are planning to apply for a research grant to develop novel indoor climate control strategies that optimize energy use.

I integrated what I learned in this course directly into my teaching practice by applying strategic foresight methods to the challenge of designing AI-integrated online final exams. It also shifted my approach from focusing mainly on AI detection to designing assessment that make students' reasoning, justifications, and applications of knowledge more visible and defensible.

Each of the modules were packed with information that I could implement in a post-secondary context. I liked how it was presented by starting with a chance to learn about the foundational concepts and terms, have a chance to consider the ethical implications of use, and then have time to work with specific tools that you could use in your own context. I found the hands on learning in the course extremely beneficial.
