The Franco-Ontarian Day at eCampusOntario: Preserving Franco-Ontarian identity in a minority context
September 25, 2024
1 PM to 2 PM EST
On September 25th, join us virtually to celebrate Franco-Ontarian Day. For the second consecutive year, eCampusOntario is honored to partner with this event to renew its commitment to Ontario’s Francophone community.
During a one-hour webinar, we will address the challenges faced by Ontario’s postsecondary institutions in preserving and promoting education “in” and “of” French. We will highlight various solutions, including those proposed by eCampusOntario in the support services for teaching and learning enhanced by technology.
To enrich this discussion, eCampusOntario is pleased to present our guest speaker, Carole Nkoa, Vice-President of the Centre Sud Ouest at Boreal College, who will share her experience and vision on this topic.
Who is Carole Nkoa?
Previously the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Groupe Média TFO and then the Deputy Vice-rector, communications at the Université de l’Ontario français, Carole Nkoa is now the Vice-president of the Centre Sud Ouest at Boréal College.
She has over 15 years of experience serving French-language education in Ontario.
