
TESS 2025 Call for Proposals
November 11 and 12

Every year, eCampusOntario brings together professionals from Ontario’s publicly-assisted colleges, universities, and Indigenous Institutes to discuss, celebrate, and advance technological innovation, community, and collaboration. Over 300 educators, administrators, librarians and instructional designers from across Ontario and North America come to TESS to experience a full and lively conference of thought-provoking plenaries and presentations, hands-on workshops and opportunities to meet with colleagues.
Theme: Reinventing Education for a Resilient Future
Postsecondary education in Canada is at a critical inflection point, with significant global and domestic changes requiring the redefinition of our approach to teaching and learning. This necessity offers educators not only a challenge, but an unparalleled opportunity to reinvent pedagogies that better support learner success. TESS 2025 will explore these opportunities for innovative practical solutions that provide educators, institutions and learners with the tools they need to thrive in a transitional future.

Session Types:
eCampusOntario is seeking proposals from its community to present topics relevant to the conference. You can choose to participate in TESS 2025 in either of the following formats:
- Workshops – Interactive collaborative learning session focused on learning a particular skill or technique (1 hour)
- Panel Discussion – 3 to 4 panelists and one moderator speak to a specific topic impacting the sector today (1 hour)
- Presentations – 20 min presentation and 10 min Q&A (30 minutes)
- Symposium – 10 min presentation on a specific topic. Three of these sessions will be grouped together by topic. There will be a 15 minute collaborative Q&A (45 min)
The deadline for submissions is
June 23, 2025 at 5:00pm.
Evaluation:
A Peer Review Committee will evaluate all submitted proposals to identify presenters for TESS 2025.
Applicants’ session proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria.
