Open Education Fellows
Each year, eCampusOntario welcomes six emerging open education advocates from member institutions to participate in the Open Education (OE) Fellowship program. OE Fellows promote increased use of OER at Ontario colleges and universities, reduced costs for learners and open pedagogy and practice among educators. The program provides Fellows with professional development opportunities and mentorship in OER advocacy and research. OE Fellows represent open education initiatives on behalf of the Ontario post-secondary system and engage directly in system-level advocacy and awareness initiatives..
Open Rangers
The Open Rangers form a network of Ontario post-secondary educators and practitioners interested in supporting the advancement of open education within their institution. Open Rangers have virtual meet-ups year round and have the chance to attend the Open Education Ontario Summit, an annual event that brings both new and seasoned Rangers together to provide a safe space for brainstorming future directions for advancement in open education.
