1. Focus on preparing post-graduate healthcare providers to work inter-professionally with clients and families who require complex and long-term care within institutions or in the home
2. Build capacity and human resources in smaller rural and remote communities for clients with extensive healthcare requirements
3. Involve interdisciplinary collaboration among two academic institutions (college and university) and one healthcare service organization
