Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan

Dr. Ann Marie Vaughan is President and CEO of Humber Polytechnic. A nationally recognized senior executive with more than 30 years of leadership in post-secondary education, she is known for advancing inclusive, learner-centred polytechnic models that strengthen workforce readiness and drive productivity. She is deeply committed to expanding access to education as a catalyst for both economic and social development.
Dr. Vaughan currently serves as Chair of the Committee of Presidents for Colleges Ontario, Chair of the eCampusOntario Board of Directors, and Chair of the Ontario Genomics Board of Directors. She is also a Director on the SkillsOntario Board of Directors, the Ontario Regional Representative on the Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Board of Directors, and an Observer on the NGEN Board of Directors. She previously served as an Honorary Colonel with the Royal Canadian Air Force, 426 Training Squadron and continues to champion Military-Connected Campus initiatives that support veterans, serving members, and their families while strengthening Canada’s defence talent pipeline.
Dr. Vaughan began her career in student leadership and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from Memorial University, a Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of British Columbia, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Calgary.
