On a path to open: A report on the capacity of Ontario’s post-secondary institutions to support open educational practices
This webinar will share a preview of a forthcoming report on the capacity of Ontario’s post-secondary institutions to support open educational practices (OEP). The report is based on a Province-wide survey of Ontario’s colleges, universities, and Indigenous institutes conducted between February and July 2024 using an updated version of the institutional self-assessment tool (ISAT2). The webinar will include a brief overview of the development of the ISAT2, followed by a summary of results, including strengths and weaknesses across various dimensions of support for OEP across the post-secondary sector. The webinar will conclude with recommendations and practical strategies for institutions seeking to further develop their capacity to support OEP.
The Technology and Education Seminar and Showcase is made possible with funding by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
